Spiderman(Peter Parker)
There are many different stories behind spiderman but the one I've heard most was:
Peter Parker is a high school student and it is coming
close to the time he is going to graduate. He is a science wiz and isn't very popular(since he's considered a nerd).
Anyway he goes on a field trip to Osborn industries and Peter is very excited since he loves science. So their guide is explaining
about the species of spiders and somehow one of the spiders got out of its case and was contaminated by radioactivity. Soon
the spider lowers down from the ceiling on its web and lands on Peter's hand. The spider bites Peter and falls to the
ground. Later Peter finds that the radioactive spider had given him spiderlike abilities.
Another story is that Peter is at the
science expo and a scientist is demonstrating how radioactivity works by using a machine. The machine let out a radioactive
beam. Meanwile a tiny spider crawls through the path of the beam and absorbs the radioactive energy. The spider leaps
in fear and lands on Peter. Then the spider bites Peter's hand falls off and dies.
One last story is the Japanese version of spiderman. A battle is happening
on the spider planet(don't ask me what that is) and a man gives Peter Parker a wristband that gives Peter spiderlike
abilities(pretty dumb huh).
But in all the versions Peter Parker always thinks of his uncle
Ben when he's fighting crime because he thinks about how he let a theif get free who later shot uncle Ben and killed him.
He decided to fight the forces of evil so nobody could suffer the same pain Peter did. When in a tight situation Uncle
Ben's saying echos in his head(With great power comes great responsibility).
powers: can cling to any surface, lift 10times his body weight, move with great agility, has perfect
balance, can sense danger before it happens, etc...
occupation: freelance photogragher, high school teacher
wife: MaryJane Watson
Spiderman
Real name: Peter Parker Occupation: Adventurer, freelance photographer,
high-school teacher Home town: New York City area First appearance: Amazing Fantasy #15 (1962)
Height: 5'
6" Weight: 130 lbs. Eyes: Blue Hair: Brown
Origin: Orphaned when his parents were killed in a plane crash,
Peter Parker went to live with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Although extremely bright, his shyness and studious nature often
caused him to be branded a social outcast.
Parker was just your average day nerdy student who went to his local high
school until one day something strange, but amazing happened. Parker was observing a science experiment on radioactivity when
he was bitten by a spider that was hit by the radioactive wave.
Soon after, Parker began feeling strange, and developed
arachnid-like abilities. After getting used to his new found powers, he made himself a costume and dubbed himself Spider-Man!
In the beginning, he used his incredible powers of great strength and agility for money.
One night while fighting
in a wrestling match, a thief who had just committed a crime ran past Spider-Man. A police officer pleaded from a far for
Spider-Man to stop the criminal, in return, Spider-Man did nothing. Later that night, Parker had learned that criminal had
murdered someone. He murdered Parkers beloved Uncle Ben. From that day on, he would only use his powers for others, and not
for personal gain.
Parker's costumed career has had its share of ups and downs. His first love, Gwen Stacy, died during
a battle between Spider-Man and the Green Goblin. Peter has lost other friends, as well -- including Harry Osborn, son and
successor of Norman Osborn, the original Green Goblin; and police Captain George Stacy, Gwen's father. Peter's marriage to
Mary Jane Watson often was troubled by his crime fighting actives, and the two have separated. But through all his trials,
he has remained steadfast in his determination to use his powers for the benefit of all.
Super Powers: Spider-Man
has superhuman strength and spider like abilities. He has the ability to cling to walls, and crawl on most thing basically....like
a spider. His powers enables our former 100 pound weakling, to lift 10-ton tanks over his head, give or take a few tons.
He can "spider-leap" the length of a city block; his "spider-sense" helps him evade attacks;
Parker also invented
a few devices of his own. One is a mechanical wrist-mounted web shooters that shoots a highly sticky web substance. The second
one are tiny, bug electronic devices that enable him to secretly follow opponents to their hide outs.
Deadliest foes:
Throughout his crime fighting career, Spider-Man has come across many dangerous foes, the most popular and famous are: the
Kingpin, the Vulture, Electro, the Sandman, Mysterio, Dr. Octopus, the Green Goblin, Kraven the Hunter, the Scorpion, the
Rhino, Venom and Carnage.
Words to live by: No matter what Peter Park/Spider-Man does, he will never forget the words
he was told many times by late Uncle Ben, "With great power, there must come great responsibility." Those words will live
in the heart of our hero until his dying day.
